Perhaps it really is all about choices. He made the choice to move on, and that's why he has. Maybe it has nothing to do with that he was in France. After all, it was the same separation.
I keep trying to decide to forget him, but in the end I'm just being indecisive. So much unhappiness comes from being indecisive.

Be glad of that which has happened, not sad that it is over. What we have enjoyed and loved will always remain a part of us. This does not mean that we cannot enjoy and love other things. The memories we will keep. But we need to make new ones as well.
