Oooh, aaah...
Of course, as much as I want to practice and do well in the class itself, I shouldn't really be getting into practice materials this serious (i.e., expensive) unless I decide to stick with it for longer than the duration of these 15 weeks. I did, however, borrow a handkerchief from my dad to practice folding the fukusa ("a square, silk cloth used for ritual cleaning of tea equipment and for handling hot lids with", sayeth Wikipedia) with, though he was quite confused as to why since I didn't really know how to explain it. I wonder if there are any tea ceremony schools in the Twin Cities. Anyways, I joined
urasenke_fans for now in case I have any questions I want to ask them.
Yay, practice tomorrow! And yay,
akaneko and
yumenohoshi being in it!
Boo, work tonight. :(
