Today on the news they had a short story on megabus.com, saying trips were as low as a dollar, but only in and out of Chicago so far. Which is where I'm taking my test.
So, with a test booking of leaving Friday, October 6th and returning Sunday, October 8th (I could only book as far out as the 14th of October), I found that it'll cost only $8 or $15 dollars each way, depending on which trip I want to take, plus a 50 cent booking fee, or between $16.50 and $30.50 total. That's compared to the $115 I was looking at with Greyhound. Plus, the trip is between two and three hours shorter, since there are only three stops total on the route (4th Street Parking Garage in Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota (East Bank), and Union Station in Chicago).
SWEET! I know who I'm busing with this December. ^_^
Now the question is, do I use the money I'll save for Mitsuwa funds, or will I be a good girl and put it to more responsible use?
