School and Work Bath
May. 18th, 2006 02:21 pmWell, I'm going to be working at Point of View again. Not exactly "again", actually, since I always worked at Easy Reader, but same company. Not sure when I'll first be training (probably this weekend), or how many hours I'll be working a week (I'm guessing 10-ish?), but it's better than nothing. Now I just need to go find a graveyard shift job and/or something flexible on campus/near my house. In any case, I think I'm going to be a lot more relaxed working there than when Yaron was my boss. Bob (my new boss) was talking about some of the differences between Yaron's eastern (U.S.) sales approach and his own midwestern one, and as Patrick said, "You're extremely midwestern".
My phsyics section just got cancelled, so I had to switch to the section with lab on Thursday from 12:20-2:15 rather than the one at the same time on Wednesday, meaning I'll have class from 11:15 to 8:25 on Thursdays with a half-hour break between linguistics and bio. I just wish Tazawa-sensei would e-mail me already - the clock is ticking!!!
Been reading ahead in physics, and it seems the freshman comp classroom just opened, so I'm going to get working on that too tomorrow.
[EDIT: Even though my freshman comp. professor said the classroom's open, I just realized it's not listed. The system's probably confused, thinking that since I have the Spring '06 version listed, they don't need to list the Summer version. I have a few calls to make today, eh?]
