Well, you know, even when he is home... it doesn't mean that you have to see him until you are ready. Just keep that in mind.

You're right... Thanks for reminding me of that.
Of course, I'm not sure if I'll ever be totally ready, and I don't think it would be a good idea to avoid seeing him indefinitely.

Well, that sometimes happens. But if the pain/saddness is still strong, then seeing him may be more harmful to the friendship you two have. I'm sure he'll give you all the space you need... and if he doesn't understand... than he isn't human. ;-)
