Mar. 23rd, 2006 03:59 pmHello Community Advisor Candidates,
This morning our Residential Life professional staff gathered and made final decisions regarding the 2006-2007 CA selection process. Due to some unforeseen issues, we are unable to send formal letters to each candidate informing them of our final decision until Tuesday, March 28. Since the University of Minnesota recognizes email as the University's official form of communication, we have decided to inform everyone of their status later today by email. A formal letter will still be sent next week, but we felt it is in the best interests of all candidates to inform them as soon as possible after decisions have been made.
Candidates will be informed that they have either been offered a position, placed on alternate status, or have not been hired. Those who have been offered positions will also be informed of their placement for 2006-2007.
We apologize in advance if our method of informing candidates of our decisions comes as a surprise or somewhat impersonal, but we felt that it was in the best interest of every candidate to know their status as soon as possible. We know many of you have put a number of your life decisions on hold until you find out our final decision.
Thank you for your time,
Grant Anderson
