Lately I've been watching Bleach (I'm currently on episode 7), and frankly the best thing about it is the opening theme and animation. I mean, it's okay, and I'm enjoying it, but I suppose after Hagaren (a.k.a. Fullmetal Alchemist), it would take quite a bit for me to get really excited about a series. (Not to say I'd neccesarily get terrible excited about Bleach if I hadn't just seen Hagaren.) Well, at least it's less insanely slow than X. ><; (I think I'll continue X during spring break when I don't have anything better to do.)

But let me make one thing clear. I love the Bleach OP. :)

I just got into Bleach myself, and I'm on episode 63. I can definetly say that it's oneof those anime that takes a few episodes to get into. I think it all really depends on how into combat anime you are.

I like combat anime alright, as long as it's got good reason for the combat and good plot when they're not fighting. (Take Samurai Champloo, for example. That was a good series which had a lot of combat, but combat wasn't all it was.)

Orange Range's "Asterisk" really is the best thing they've ever done...
But yeah, I watched BLEACH up to about episode 65 then gave up, I just totally wasn't interested anymore.
Which is a shame cos I invested so much time and excitement into it, but after about ep 52 it got boring.

That's disappointing... I thought I'd have a band to love. (Although at least I got ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION - will be buying some of their CDs once I get some money.)

The series really does pick up after the first few episodes. I really like it, and I've been following the story since summer last year. Bleach is also one of the few animes I know that follows the manga storyline so closely. Right now it just reached Ep.70 and since it caught up to the manga around ep. 62, they've been showing not so great filler episodes... Other than that, I think the stories good, and I like the action. If you like the 1st OP, then I think you will like the 2nd and 3rd OP too, if not better. XD

X is a slow seires... That's just how it is... I think if you take all the importan events without delay together, its a little over an hour... I liked the ending though. The art style is quite good too.

Okay... I'll definitely stick with it for a bit.
It's kinda funny about X though. I suppose that's why they made the movie?
If X were live action, I wonder just how many pounds of feathers they would have used in the making of the series... CLAMP is silly sometimes. I wish they'd make another series more like Rayearth.
