Well, all I can say is thank God that was open book/open note... Before leaving I printed off the answer keys to all of the homework assignments, quizzes, and the practice midterm as well as the class notes, and so I was basically able to use the answer keys as templates and modify those programs to answer the test questions. I finished the test with less than ten minutes to spare (many students left less than half-way through the exam) and was able to look over my copy-and-pasted answers to make sure I didn't miss anything in adapting them to the specifics of the test questions. The only part that I'm really not sure about is the evaluation section, since I haven't yet gain a firm understanding of the difference between cons and list, and between partial and complete lists. (Also, I haven't figured out what makes a list nested.) Still, if I had prepared better I probably would have had a lot more time to check over my answers. I'm sure I made one or two stupid mistakes that I didn't notice...
In the end, there's a fair chance I got an A- or an A, but I'm sure it would have been a higher percentage if I had prepared more.
Now the question is... Do I want to go to math tonight?
