That's right. Guh.
U.V. is stupid and ugly and impossible to find my way around. I spent 15 minutes in the west wing when I needed to be in the east. And then when I finally walked across the parking lot to the east wing, as I was searching I found myself back in the west wing - after walking through a one-way door. So I walk back across the parking lot and ask the office assistant to help me find the room that we were supposed to be in, and I finally find it. Part of the reason I couldn't find it was that it was in someone's apartment, which I didn't expect. (The U.V. community room is under construction.) I must say, though - those apartments are nice. I mean, the individual bedrooms are small, but they're real apartments. They have humongous living rooms, and a very large kitchen with lots of counter space. Plus, the west wing has an indoor bike room.
Speaking of bikes, though, I went in to the campus police to file a report. I need to call my dad tomorrow and ask if he has the serial number written down anywhere, and I also want to make sure I gave the officer the right value for the bike. I asked her about the quality of the lock I was using, and she said that with the right tool it would take just a second to cut. I knew it wasn't as good as a U-Lock, but I figured it would at least take a minute or two...
I really wish I had gotten around to registering my bike earlier... ^^;
Anyways, I've got lots of work to do tonight, so I'm signing off now.
