fainting people on TV

You know, I always get annoyed when you see people faint on TV. Their vision gets all fuzzy, and they just stand there with their hand up to their head, and then they fall and potentially hit their head. (Of course they never do.) I don't know about you, but if I start feeling faint, I sit or lay down almost immediately, both in hopes that it will make my faintness go away, but also so I WON'T FALL AND HURT MYSELF IF I DO!

I watched my friend faint more than once. The final time (because I threw a fit about her not-eating), she had a knife in her hand, had been calmly chopping veges in the kitchen. She fainted just like in the movies... sluuuummp!

I still don't know why she didn't just SIT DOWN. My sister used to occasionally fall over, too.

Heh... I guess they do it like that in movies because people really are that stupid silly sometimes.
