Two pieces of advice. Voip is your friend and so are calling cards and net. ^^ Try to talk on the phone at least once a week.

I'll try... If only for a little bit. I'm sure Pat can help us figure out some VoIP system. I'm also hoping to do some good 'ol paper-and-pen communication, partly because I think letter-writing is good for relationships.
