Could you take a look at my homework assignment that’s due this morning for me? The assignment is to respond to an advice column, and the question we were supposed to reply to is below:

Here is my advice:

And what I’m trying to say (kind of):
I'm also an exchange student, and (despite this) in the first three months I didn't become better (at Japanese) at all, so I understand your worries. However, I think there’s a solution. If I were you, I would take a class where there would be a lot of discussions, and in these class discussions I would practice (my Japanese).

The guidelines:
1) Empathetic/compassionate statement.
2) What you would do if you were the person (Use”私なら”, and
3) What the concerned could do (Use “Vたらどうですか。”)
(Also, it should be at least 100 moji (characters) long.)

A big thank you to anyone who responds to this. :)

I only had a chance to read over it really quick. It looks OK, however
「私なら、ぎろんがたくさん出来るじゅぎょうをとって、」stands out as a little odd to me. I have the feeling that a Japanese person would phrase this differently and not use "dekiru" here. I don't have time to put a lot of thought into it, but perhaps something like

While I'm far from fluent, that just strikes me as a little more natural sounding.
