essay quiz - yeah, my answer was crap
Sep. 19th, 2005 06:26 pmWhich is better for causal explanation, correlational or experimental research? Why?
Experimental research is far better for determining causal explanations because of the existence of control groups. The control group helps to verify that it is not a third (independent) variable causing a relationship between the independent and dpendent variables.
Well, that was crap. I miss the message baord postings about the most interesting thing from the reading and what we can apply to our own lives. Ah well, it's only one point out of 298, and I'll do better next time. (And hey, maybe they'll grade the first essay really easily (on whether you did it, rather than whether you actually gavea decent answer.)
I'm just glad that I got 10/10 on all of my quizzes on the first try. :)
