I scored 38/41 on the General Math placement exam (the one for GC students, covering pretty basic algebra). How lame. But I must say, some of the questions were poorly designed - the graphs didn't even have bold axes, and they weren't very big, either, so I had to squint and re-check myself while trying to figure out some coordinates. Also, there was a really stupid queston:
The sum of the solution of the system
rr-11x+y=8
r8x-y=-5
rr
ris
Wha? rr isn't even an equation!
(Urk... They meant rr=r, didn't they? Well, still, they should proofread these things!)
I'm so, so tired...
BTW, my schedule got a total revamp today. The only class that was the same was Japanese.
It's really sad for me not to be able to take physics with Patrick, and I totally think I'd be able to handle it, but I have no real choice in the matter - not if I want to stay in school. Suuuuck.
I'll write more later.
