I'm such a bad poster. I really, really am. What happened to me?! Oh yeah, work happened to me... Stupid work.
Well, just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive. Just a couple of notes:
- I am so broke right now. Like, don't have money for the bus to take me to and from work broke.
- Since I need to go to work, I have to get up early tomorrow and ask my parents for a loan including $1.25 for the bus to work. I can break the rest of the loan into $1.25s and $1.75s at work.
- On top of that, I already owe Patrick $50, Ann $21, and the U of M $493.25. I figure my check's going to be around $500... I think I'll just pay $250 to the U and incur (sp?) the late fee and re-billing fee. I'll also get a hold put on my record, but I already have one from being on probation (YUCK!), and I'm not due to register until the 27th anyway.
- I need to sit down and seriously figure out how to manage my money. The first thing will to only bring enough cash to work for the bus there, the bus back, and for my daily tea. I also need to make sure to BRING MY OWN FOOD, and I'm planning to buy some bread and peanut butter to leave at the cart, J.I.C.
- I applied for a PayPal Visa today, to start building credit and for these situations in which I don't have any money for food or the train home from work (can't use it on the way to work, since I start on the bus). I feel weird about this, because also previously applied for a United Mileage Plus Card, and I don't want two cards, but I'm sure I'll be rejected for the United card. I'll probably be rejected for the PayPal card as well, in which case I'll just give up on one with any side-advantages and go for a baby-Visa.
*sighs* I need an apartment. I seriously need to simplify my living space so I can keep it clean, and then not have any responsibility other than to myself to keep it that way.

Well, that's all for today.

Er...don't you and Patrick still owe me $35 each for Detour memberships?

Actually I bet you won't have that much trouble getting a credit card 'cause they like giving cards to students. :P They figure if you get into credit card trouble you can get your parents to bail you out. I'd suggest looking carefully at your APR and whether or not you can get any "cash back" ones. :)

Wouldn't getting an apartment just add to your costs?
