aluminumstudios informed me, MGM has been releasing "letterboxed" DVDs which are actually TV-ratio with the top and bottom cut off. Thankfully, they have been sued for this, and if you have purchased certain MGM DVDs, you can claim a new, properly aspected DVD or $7.10. Requests must be postmarked on or before March 31, 2005.
In other news, I registered for a couple of classes (Excel, PowerPoint and HTML) with Get Wired, which are free to current CLA undergrad students.
*goes off to make my hiccups go away*
