Called Starbucks back today, and it turns out that not all of the people who were going to quit have left, meaning that they have no position to hire me for. Okay, that still leaves me with Chico's and eight days to cancel my classes.
After I told Dad this, he told me that he and Ann had, for this semester only, decided to pay for these two classes, provided that I don't get a full time job. (Nevermind that 5 credits and fourty hours/wk. of work is equivalent to 15 credits and ten hours/wk, but that doesn't really matter - I'm going to school!)
When I called dad this evening to tell him that I was on my way home, he told me that he and Ann had changed their mind and that they would pay for Syntax only, and that I need to drop LASK 1001 (Mastering Skills). I assume that Dad paying for Syntax and me paying for LASK with my Papa Murphy's income is a no-go, so I'll wait LASK out until next Monday (the 24th), and cancel it on the 25th.

Long story short: I have school tomorrow!!!!
