Patrick's step-dad's (read dad) dad died today, within the past few hours.
They just recently went on a trip to Chicago and spent some time with him, knowing that he probably had only a few years left, if that, but he was generally fine. I never got to meet him.
But I can't be thinking of myself right now.

Date: 2005-01-15 08:57 pm (UTC)若いうちはなかなか自分が死ぬなんて想像できないですよね。10代や20代の若い人が、自分と同世代の友人を事故や病気で急に亡くしたりするとショックでなかなか立ち直れないものです。
Patrickくんが早く父親の死を受け入れて、立ち直ればいいね。
