  • 10:07 TNT skipped the E.R. episode where Dr. Greene died. I don't know whether to be relieved or disappointed. The letter was nice, though. #
  • 11:20 @killercherrypie Then I again, I always say people look like other people, and no-one else agrees... Probably why I'm so bad with faces. #
  • 11:22 @brianwisti I think perhaps Anne Frank will be eternally off limits? You can't joke about anyone who's suffered... #
  • 14:08 How sad is it that when I hear Étude Op. 10, No. 3 by Chopin on TV, I think of FMA rather than, well, Chopin. #
  • 14:14 According to Wiki, We Were Lovers from Gankutsuou is based on this piece too. *listens to WWL* Yeah, I can hear it... #
  • 14:29 Oh, and my first training shift at Walgreens (accidentally typed Best Buy) is 2-6:30 on Wednesday. #
  • 14:44 Yay, the new FMA OST is out! #
  • 19:10 I think the Tenchi OAV continuity and family trees need to be a little more complicated. #
  • 19:19 ...Washuu is Mihoshi's great-great-grandmother. I don't really know what to say. #
  • 22:50 I... can't stop staring at the adorableness. i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad5/dereless/1016/xfotextless.png #

Tenchi in Tokyo wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered it being (which I rated as 4/10). The thing that stuck out the most in my mind was the fugly character designs for the low-level baddies, and the too-frequent egregious super-deformity of the main characters. But those elements were most prevalent in the first half of the series, and the plot was actually quite enjoyable. I mean, definitely not as epic as in the OAV, or as shiny as in the original TV series, but good none-the-less. Plus, I really enjoyed watching Tenchi be an active part in a relationship (the part in ep. 25 definitely made my heart flutter a bit). In any case, I only upgraded the score to 6/10, but between the nostalgia, being a fan of the Tenchi franchise in general, and the series being more enjoyable than I remembered, I most emphatically do not regret buying the series.
Watching the third OAV now. I really want to review all the crazy revelations from that one, plus I never saw the 7th special episode. (I'd re-watch the first and second OAVs first, but their in MPLS, and I've watched them enough to remember what happened pretty well, and the third OAV does a bit of review where necessary.)
Blah, I need to go to Walgreens to meet up with a co-worker from Best Buy at 4:30 so I can pick up some things I lent her. Problem is, even though it's only a mile or so away, I'm feeling super lazy. Hopefully I'll be a bit more in the mood before I leave.

Alright, Twin Cities peeps, here's the deal. A while ago I received a $100 gift certificate from Juut Salon Spa, and I had no clue what to do with it even when I lived in Minneapolis, but now I literally can't use it. Plus, there's the whole money thing. So, if anyone can make use of the card, I'd be glad to sell it to you for $75 (or best offer). Sold.
I also still have volume 1 of Baccano! with the artbox and the first volume of Mushishi (factory shrinkwrapped) available. I suppose my asking price is $15 for Baccano and $10 for Mushishi?
