two more bits I need help with
Oct. 27th, 2007 07:20 pmTwo more bits I'm having trouble with... Namely the underlined. (I just love Japanese's grammatical clusters... Makes me feel like I'm untangling cables, only once I finally get them untangled it turns out to be a slightly idiomatic phrase or something...)
Seriously, every time I try to post to

my folders work!
Oct. 27th, 2007 10:59 pmSo, as usual, I can't sleep. I think maybe I have some weird aversion to sleeping. I also think that I've mentioned this before.
Anyways, I tried a google search to see if I could fix my problem where whenever I tried to open a folder from within Windows (vs. within Salamander or whatever) it would open the search screen instead, so I'd have to right click and go to open. After finding a number of selections along the lines of "use system restore" (which I figure wouldn't work since I've been putting up with this for months) and "reformat and reinstall XP" (XP indeed), I found this:
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32
Worked like a charm. :)
I should go through my LJ icons some time. I have too many that I like, but that I never use, and really never will. Plus, it makes it really hard to have to pick from 115 icons every time I make a post.
I might even not get the icon add-on next time it runs out... But we shall see.
