Wow... Metro Transit really is silly sometimes. So, I want to get to the Borders in Midway by 12:30, right?
One route it suggests:
Walk 0.5 mile N from 3430 40TH AVE S to
Depart: 31 ST E & 41 AV S At 12:07 PM
Route: 21A SELBY-LAKE / ST PAUL
Arrive: UNIVERSITY AV & ALBERT ST At 12:22 PM
Walk NE to 1390 UNIVERSITY AVE W

Makes perfect sense to me. Another:
Walk 0.5 mile N from 3430 40TH AVE S to
Depart: 31 ST E & 41 AV S At 11:29 AM
Route: 21D LAKE ST / ST THOMAS
Arrive: SUMMIT AV & FINN ST / CRETIN AV At 11:35 AM
Transfer to

Depart: SUMMIT AV & FINN ST / CRETIN AV At 11:47 AM
Route: 63S E 3RD ST / SUNRAY
Arrive: GRAND AV & SNELLING AV At 11:54 AM
Transfer to

Depart: SNELLING AV & GRAND AV At 12:05 PM
Route: 84 SNELLING AV / ROSEDALE
Arrive: SNELLING AV & SPRUCE TREE AV At 12:12 PM
Transfer to

Depart: SNELLING AV & SPRUCE TREE AV At 12:20 PM
Route: 21A SELBY-LAKE / ST PAUL
Arrive: UNIVERSITY AV & ALBERT ST At 12:22 PM
Walk NE to 1390 UNIVERSITY AVE W

Yeah... No. That route has no advatages whatsoever. Same amount of walking. Three transfers. Takes longer. (To be fair, the first 21D doesn't go as far as the 21A, which is why it doesn't just have me take the 21D all the way there.
Anyways, technology is silly.

I'd also like to say that this strip of VG Cats made me wibble... Poor PSP.

[EDIT: Hee hee, when I lean my head back my hair reaches my butt. :)]

Yeah, The Japan Shop definitely gets an A+ for customer service. :) I just got my package in the mail (only 5 days after I ordered it, or 3 business days, and that's with the free over-$50 shipping), and while my card cases and level 2 flash cards came in good condition, the 2006 level 1 and 2 test booklet was mangled in such a way that it made it hard to use. So, realizing it was daytime in Japan, I called their toll-free number about getting it exchanged. The owner, Clay, made sure everything else I ordered arrived safely, and said that he'd send me out a new one right away, and to send the old one to them with the cheapest method possible and they'd refund me when it arrived. I mean, it wasn't anything extra-ordinary, but there's something really pleasing about simple, honest, no-gimmicks customer service. ^_^
But I think I may look at this book a bit tonight before I take it to the post office tomorrow.
