Mou... As much as I love that class, it always makes me feel like such a dolt. We're starting a slightly more complicated ceremony next week... Maybe that'll even us out a bit?
I also missed my appointment with the professor last week, and totally forgot about it. She scolded me a little bit after class, reminding me to at least contact her if I'm not going to make it to an arranged appointment. Anyways, I apologized, and went up to her room after class to practice folding the fukusa. I'm also going to ask her (again) if I can come in this week to watch the video.
I think the worst part of it is that I know I'm bringing the class in general down, since even though the teacher is more than capable of deciding what balance to strike, her having to help me slows the ceremony in general down, and means we can't get as much done as we could otherwise.
I also really want to continue my study of the tea ceremony after the semester is over, but the only way to do that in the Twin Cities is in this class, basically, and since it's going to be a freshman seminar next semester, the only way to do that is as a pseudo T.A., and well... I don't know if I'm going to be up to snuff by then enough to actually help.
Maa, ganbaranakucha.

On another note, I accidentally left my kazoku no shashin for my oral interview at home this morning, and I can't decide whether I should go home and get it or just use a slightly modified version of what I wrote up to say already using one of the textbook's pictures. It's not like I can't study on the bus, but it'll still be harder to concentrate than if I just lock myself up in a study room for the rest of the time before my interview starts.

Either way, writing in my LJ isn't studying in any manner, so I'll stop here.

So... Yeah. Anyone want a fresh 絶対合格 (zettai goukaku) hachimaki or a copy of 完全マスター (Kanzen MASUTAA) for the 3級 (3kyuu)?

*goes off to get some food before getting back to studying*
