sharing a moment of stupidity

Umm... I just realized something I wanted to share with all of you.
Last night when I started my whites... I put my dark laundry detergent in.
I don't think it'll harm anything. I mean, it's not like putting bleach in your darks, but still. I r dumm.

文語と日本史を勉強したいなあ

You know, I'd really love to study classical Japanese someday. UBC Vancouver actually offers it. Maybe I should keep thinking about going there for grad school...
Of course, the linguist in me then considers how they decide what "classical" Japanese is. I mean, language is always, always changing. By studying classical Japanese, I will necessarily be studying a language not yet used by some of history's Japanese, as well as a language considered classical to other non-modern Japanese.
But it'd still be cool. :)
(I'd also like to finally read that book I have on Japanese history over winter break. *nods*)
My family's getting a new dryer and dishwasher. Yay! I mean, our dryer is just... You should hear it squeak. Actually, I think I'm gonna make a phone post of it later tonight. That, and you have to place something in front of the door to hold it shut. And it takes forever for clothes to dry. I have to say, I'm a little sad about the dishwasher, though. Not that I've been doing the dishes at all recently, which I feel kinda bad about, but I've actually come to like washing dishes by hand.
Anyways, I need to get back to work.

FSOS assignment 2 grade finally came in

Yay! I got a 10/10 on my latest FSOS assignment! That has me at 49/50 points in the class so far, and there are exactly 100 points in the class!
Why do I get so excited over a single credit class?...
