I would be excited, but...
Oct. 14th, 2006 01:25 pmI would say "Yay, new power adapter for my iPod!!!", except I'm not positive it's working... ><;
Here's to hoping it's just to drained of batteries right now to work even with it plugged in, and when I wake up this evening all will be good again.
*crawls off to bed, also hoping I can manage to stay asleep until work tonight*
[EDIT: And Apple says: you can't talk to us because you are no longer under the apple care program, nor are you within the first 90 days of having purchased the product, so we can't really help you, but it sounds like your battery's dead, and it'd probably be about the same price to buy a new product as to replace it, which makes me think that apple didn't get to be as popular as it is through its customer service.
Which also makes me think twice about buying a new iPod.]
[EDIT 2: Okay, I just bought a replacement battery pack with installation tools (and a skin case) off eBay for $18.93 including shipping. I hope this works.]
[EDIT 3: I've decided that if this new battery pack doesn't work, I'm not going to buy a new iPod, nor a used one, until I am receiving financial aid again. So, once again, I hope it works.
I still don't understand why my iPod is charging properly with my old adapter as long as I hold the wire in its place. though...]
