- I went downstairs to get some pop with Patrick, and they were totally out of Coke, so I had to get a Cherry Coke. :(
- Stupid contract with Coke - I want my Pepsi!
- The elevator door closed and opened five times before it finally shut (after Patrick jumped up and down, if that had any effect). It was amusing, but kind of annoying too.
- Good luck on your paper, [livejournal.com profile] yumenohoshi!!
- Damn damn damn, my Japanese test is in six hours!
- Damn damn damn, I might not get a chance to do that paper for LASK that was due two weeks ago after all. It's worth 10% of my grade, too... But she probably wouldn't have accepted it anyway, which is why I'm putting most of my effort into preparing for Japanese.
- My leg itches really badly...
- I had to cut my pills with a knife borrowed from Patrick today... 'Twas interesting. Must get a new pill cutter.
- Patrick's leaving in 17 days. :(
- I'm in desperate need of blank DVDs...
- I could say more, but this list is getting a bit long, and I should really get back to work.

Ugh... So, today I woke up five minutes after the test started. I called Patrick to ask him what I should do, and he said that I should go to the test A.S.A.P. and just try my best in the time left. So I did, but when I entered the test room, the proctor told me to go up to the Japanese office and ask Tazawa-sensei if I could take the test there. Well, I met EMETTO-sensei in the elevator, which embarassed me out of going to the office, so after she got out rather than following her to the office I took the elevator back to the third floor and walked back up the stairs and sat next to the (then locked) ALL reading room. Eventually she came out and found me and asked me for the course CDs, as well as whether I wanted to take the final or not, so I told her I did.
The test itself whent okay, including the listening comprehension. There was one part though where I particularly remember getting confused. The sentence was "Don't I have to comb my hair before meeting with the client?", and I translated it as 「おきゃくさんに会う前に、かみをとかさなくてはいけないでしょうか。」, but I'm not sure if that was right, partly because we studied nakute mo ii in this chapter, so I had suspicions that we were supposed to used that somehow. Still, the sentence was negative, so... And was I supposed to say いけませんか or いけないでしょうか, or something else? One of the Japanese T.A.s was sitting at the computer next to mine in the lab and I asked her, and she couldn't tell me the answer... (As in, she wasn't sure what it was, not she wasn't allowed to.)
By the time I finished the test EMETTO-sensei and Tazawa-sensei had both left to do the oral interviews, so put my late homework on Tazawa-sensei's desk and left for my oral interview. I was so nervous, especially since I hadn't been to any of the practice sessions and didn't really know what to expect until I talked to the people waiting outside the testing room that morning, and then even marginally so. I don't think I did too hot... *bites lip* We'll see, I guess.
So, what's left today? Turn in my integration paper for LASK, go to the ALL reading room and do some last-minutes studying for the chapter 17 dialog checks, go to the Japanese office and ask if I can make up the chapter 17 quizzes and dialog checks I missed, then maybe try to do Learning Project III for LASK and e-mail/print that. Then, go home and sleep for a while. After that, work on my Lead On! application which is due tomorrow and clean my room, then go back to sleep until spring semester. (I wish.)
Oh, and let's throw in some food eating, too. I'm starving. ><;

Hilarity ensues.

I just went to turn in my Integration Paper, and Prof. Zahm said that she had already submitted grades, and she had just read it off the computer. So... I don't have to worry about Learning Project III, I guess. :-/
Well, then. Study for my dialog checks until the teachers get back, do everything that needs to be done, go home, and sleep. Sounds okay to me.
(By the way, I checked my grade report to see what I got in LASK, and it's not listed yet.)

And as far as this semester is concerned, there is nothing more I can do. I won't call it relief or anything like that, because I would rather have more time, but at least I can relax a bit now and do some of the things I've been putting off. *moves the Fall 2005 folder from the current school folder to the old school folder* Like cleaning the slate.
So, food, then nap.
tsukikage: (Pat)
Well, that's that. I'm no longer separated from my boyfriend by two flights of stairs and some hallway... No more having dinner with him, either.
I could write more, but I'm not gonna.
tsukikage: (catnip)
OMG someone get me to the dentist... Or at least some aspirin. I feel like such a dumb-butt for waiting so long to take care of these!
*grimaces*
I'm so tired, though... But I've gotta keep cleaning, or at least get to work on the Lead On! app.
tsukikage: (Neo Queen Serenity)
Well, I spent a fair amount of time cleaning tonight. Now that the floor is mostly cleared, I really want to vacuum. (There's bits of dry noodle and other crap all over the floor.) However, Rebecca has a final tomorrow, and she just got back from wherever she was studying, so she must either be studying or sleeping right now, so I don't want to disturb her. Ashita ne?
Oh, at the ALL reading room today there were a bunch of Japanese elementary school math textbooks, and also one 7th grade textbook. Japanese education system + Japanese + math + textbooks = TOTAL LOVE!

So, I'm gonna finally get around to that app, then go to bed. Whee!
