I just applied for the position of State Executive Director for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Hey, I may not be qualified, but I meet the "requirements". Gotta love automatic resume submissions!

Want my advice? Take the crappy low-paying shitwork while it's available to you. It'll serve as invaluable experience for anything you do later, and having a lot of different skills learned from jobs looks good on job applications.

Don't have too much pride when it comes to work, you just started in the job market, so you can't expect to be making $7-$8 an hour just yet. Give yourself time, find a shitwork job that you can get good at, and stick with it, make that job your top priority, that's how you impress an employer. I'm just telling you what I've learned from being in the job market for 7 years, you can take it or leave it.

I'm definitely taking it! All I'm really looking for is a 40 hour a week job, even if it's as a janitor. But as long as all I have to do is click a few buttons, why not?
