I hope to become a permanent resident of Canada after attaining my B.A., and continuing my graduate studies at UBC, Vancouver. After living in Canada for the required amount of years, I'm seriously considering naturalizing.

Oh, OK. I remember you saying that in the past. I just wasn't making the connection in this case. :-)

I hope this has nothing to do with Bush perhaps wining the election.

Naw, although getting away from American government and "wel"fare would be nice.

Canada is supposed to be MY safe haven seeing as how I am a male between the ages of 18 and 25.
What your reason?:)

Cheap graduate school. Cheap undergrad education for my children. Universal health care. And Vancouver, BC has cherry blossoms. ^_^
I really wanted to study at UBC, Vancouver for my undergrad education, but my parents don't have the money and I don't have the grades for scholarships, so I'm going to do my best to gain the credentials to gain permanent residency by the time I graduate with my B.A. at the University of Minnesota, and then I'm going to move to Vancouver and get my masters and Ph.D. there, and then most likely apply for naturalization.

Sounds like a good plan.
Universal Health care sounds grand too, I'll enjoy that, I'm sure.
