Christmas Eve is tomorrow, as we all know... I am POOR. But in all honestly, it's my own fault: I have sh*t for skills when it comes to managing my money. At least I have SOMETHING to give people, but it still kinda sucks.

*reassembles mind*

Ok, I'm back. Forgive me, there's a lot I have been wanting to say, but, as usual, I'm never in the mood to actually sit down in front of a computer and type it up. I wish I had a laptop... That and DSL. =P

Anyways, went to LotR with Patrick and WeiMing (Wei Ming?) on Saturday. I wanted to invite Diana, but she got back from her borseback riding lesson too late.

And it's true. The Return of the King is the best Lord of the Rings movie. ^_^ But... I'm not ready to see it again for a while. Throughout the movie I felt like I wanted to puke. I'm surprised none of the characters did! It isn't so much the gore, but just the destruction and the weight of it all. "Zettai unmei mokushiroku." (Absolute destiny apocolypse.) Still... It was beautiful.

Oh, and to all of you who were raving about how it's a movie to bring your handkerchief too, I now know what you mean, but I SPENT THE ENTIRE MOVIE waiting for the mass burial of our heroes. "This'll be it. Oh, I guess not. THIS has gotta be it. Nope. Ok, why aren't they dying?" YOU GUYS! DON'T GET ME SO WORKED UP WHEN I DON'T NEED TO BE!

Now that I have that out of my system... *clears throat*

A bunch of people in the family went to my grandma's yesterday to celebrate "Christmas" with her. We brought nummins from Famous Dave's and presents for her along with the presents "that she bought for us". She's so senile now that she didn't know the difference...

Overall it went well. Andrea, her granddaughter and my cousin (34 years old), hadn't seen her for three years... It's weird how much the family has gained a sense of relief after her cardiac arrest, or whatever it was. For the first time in a while, the whole family can actually stand to be around her. Yet we'll only be able to enjoy (?) her new self for what may be months. Is it a blessing wrapped in a tragedy, or a tragedy wrapped in a blessing? (Perhaps "an enigma wrapped in a mystery"? =P)

WuFei brings calm to me. How ironic. ^_^; *"Asa e no DOA o Tatake" plays over my computer speakers*

I should probably get to work before Patrick's one-year anniversary present becomes his five-year wedding anniversary present. Itte kimasu!
