tsukikagePat and I were talking for a long time last night, and we decided to make this a break until further notice. It sounds kinda... immature... but neither of us is ready to fuse the frays yet. God, none of this is fostering any sense of reality about what happened.
Or maybe this new situation seems perfectly real?
A couple of current plans: he's still going to meet my Oma and Opa, since if we stay together he might not have another chance, and we're not going to be going to Madison (that would be way uncomfortable). Most importantly, he's still willing to be there at my surgery. ^_^
We're going to the Riverview Cafe tonight to just cuddle and talk things over. We may even decide to make things final...
Yesterday we were talking about what a strange friendship this would be. He was joking that we could be "friends with benefits", and we both laughed at that. But you know what? In a way, we will be. He'll be only the second friend I'll be comfortable talking about... "stuff"... with. I'd say that's a benefit, even if I should be comfortable talking about that with some of my other friends. He just might end up being my best friend...
This canvas is one with pencil etchings on it, but who knows what the final product will be?
