[DL] and the ball gets rolling

tsukikageBlah, blah, blah blah blah. Went to the Craniofacial Dental Clinic today. Still don't know quite when the surgery's gonna be, but A.S.A.P. Paperwork is being filled out, final x-rays need to be taken, my orthodontist needs to prep me for the surgery (ie. making spaces between my teeth so there's room for the neccesary incisions), I'm meeting with my surgeon next Thursday... If things go as my team hopes, this thing'll go down as soon as January.
And I'm so not ready... I never WILL be ready.
I mean, I love the pampering that I get afterwards (and Dad says there'll be plenty of it, since he'll have to make up for all the years where my mom got the privelege), but I HATE the anesthesia. I hate it via I.V., and I hate it via gas. Why can't they give you the anesthesia when you're already asleep? I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!
Of course, there's that little tingling fear that something may go wrong...
I don't know. Patrick, you'd better make good on your promise to be there! And Mom, don't make that dream (nightmare?) I had come true.
