Wrote an e-mail to my dad telling him the truth. Do I have to go home tonight? Maybe he'll be asleep...

Hey, Dad,
I have something I have to tell you: I'm still in IB. I told myself I'd tell you the Sunday after my birthday... I guess I just got really nervous. I kept on putting it off, and putting it off, and having more important things to due. I'm partly telling you because Mrs. Haug said I had to to stay in her class. But also, it's really hard trying to make it appear like I'm doing less homework than I am. How silly is it to do homework behind your parent's back? In any case, I want to be the one to tell you, not my teachers.
I was honestly intending to drop IB history and English last year, but after summer school English and realizing that I didn't have to do an extended essay and Laura hounding me about dropping out, I couldn't take it any more. I decided not to switch into regular classes. I'm sorry for lying to you for so long, but... I just knew you'd say no. I figured that if you found out, you'd just angrily let me stay in IB. I don't know what you'll do.
My schedule is this:
1st Semester
1 - English 12, IB
2 - 20th Century European History, IB / Theory of Knowledge, IB
(these are year-long classes taken every-other day; final grades are at the semester, not the quarter)
3 - Computer Science, IB (actual), PSEO (record)
4 - Advanced Topics Math, IB
* Japanese 1011
2nd Semester
1- French I or PSEO
2 - 20th Century European History, IB / Theory of Knowledge, IB
3 - PSEO (actual), Computer Science, IB (record)
4 - PSEO or Music, IB
* Japanese 1012
So, that's the truth...
On another note, I have a lot of reading to do tonight, so I'm going to stay late at Coffman. Also, it turns out the copy of Love Medicine you gave me is an older version without certain chapters that are in the revised version that the homework is based off of, so I bought a new copy from Mrs. Haug for $8 out of my checking account. Can I get a reimbursement?...
Love,
Nastassja
