Ooh! Big screen! ^_^
So, random stuff. Math test was horrible. We had to answer four of five short questions, and a multiple-part question. I answered one-and-a-half short questions and half of the long question. Mwah hah hah hah! On the "plus" side, it seems like most of the class didn't do so hot. Laura, probably the most dedicated studier in the class, did three-and-a-half of the short questions and three-quarters of the long question. Of course, this will be graded on the "IB scale", so an A will be around 70%. That is, if she gets her problems right. (I have no clue what my less-than 50% will be, evend if I do get all my answers right.
You know, if I bomb this test, I'm gonna blame it on the childbirth tape they were playing in health class next door...
As I was walking out to the bus with Laura, Patrick drove by and honked his horn. Ride to the U! Another kid, Miles, asked if he could mooch a ride and Patrick accepted. Apparently they met each other at a church retreat? Anyways, after dropping Miles off I told Patrick about the test, and he (rather harshly) pointed out that if I didn't do the homework I didn't have much right to complain. He had been getting those sort of complaints a lot lately, and he was getting annoyed with them. He may be right, and I guess I'm glad he reminded me, but... I wish he'd have more patience with me.
We stopped by Sushi Express and I got some cucumber sushi. Patrick thought $5 was really expensive for sushi. He's probably right, but I WANT MY SUSHI! =P After I finished he dropped me off at Coffman and I got a new mechanical pencil (I broke my old one - as well as one of his parents' chairs...), lead and erasers. Yea, school supplies! I swear I have an office supply fetish...
Nyaaaahhh... I wish Jo and Dad would get back to me (about the MAS newsletter and the BNL concert).
English in-class essay on one book Tuesday, journal on another book due Thursday, history test Friday, EE due in two months, Japanese test Wednesday, conferences Thursday, need to tell my dad about IB before conferences... Blech. I'm not stressed (though maybe I should be) - I'm just feeling a bit of that deer-in-the-headlights syndrome...
Well, there goes my alarm. Off to do homework and drink extra-sweet soy milk!
