[DL] dress rehearsal

tsukikageWhee! I don't know what to say. Went to Patrick's house today for a dress rehearsal of our study sessions next year. It'll give us a chance to get together in spite of our intensified (well, it'll be easier for me *feels depressed butterflies in stomach*) academic schedules. As an added benefit, having a social life will make it easier to hide the fact that I'm still in IB. (Ie., he'll think I'm doing less homework than I am.)
Anyways, it went ok, but it could be better. I want to get this right BEFORE school starts. The most important thing, I think, will be to put business first, and "hang out" when we both feel we have a significant amount of work done (or when there's only a half hour left). And Pat can't be gaming while I'm doing homework - I get lonely. ^_^; I want to do homework with him, not just in his house.
When am I gonna get to go to the fair? AM I gonna get to go to the fair? And, most importantly, though unrelated, HOW AM I GOING TO FIND MONEY FOR MY UNIFORM??? I wish my parents would go for this idea, but they think it will be really bad for me socially. Maybe that's part of why I want to do it... Maybe I WANT to cut myself off, and to be the person I was in junior high who would spend her lunch periods reading or studying for tests. Maybe it's just my obsession with "systems". But, hey, who cares? ^_^

Arigato, Nikko-chan. I know you're not a phone person, but I really needed someone to talk to, and you don't know how much I appreciate you being there for me. I really will try to always be there for you, in whatever way would most help. *hugs you*
