[DL] Present and School Computers Bath
Jul. 22nd, 2003 10:14 amI'm going insane. I HATE school computers. 200 mHz, and I'm even locked out of Windowns Explorer! I tried to clean up the online newsletter, but mostly it was just deleting stuff and leaving empty spaces. A little sarcasm was thrown in to make myself feel better. If anyone wants to see my little gem go to www.geocities.com/tsukikage_85/london/web/index.html. I should have just wrote some articles and put up my own site, but I thought we were just posting it as a Publisher file. The thing is, though, if I were better at tables (and I had more time) it'd probably work out.
Patrick checked Amazon for the Reagan book last night and said it wasn't out yet. At first I thought it just wasn't on Amazon, but after doing some of my own searching I found that the book I was thinking of was published in 2001. The question is now, what am I going to get him for his birthday? I might check with his dad if Patrick already has the 2001 book (I'm assuming so), but otherwise I might get the memoir book, or something... His mom said she only knew of one book he has, but his dad said they have many... I might just have to take a totally new approach.
*bangs my forehead slowly on the table, then looks up pitifully*
Anyone have any suggestions?
Yea... Teacher's yelling at someone. Why do I always feel that when someone is angry at someone else that they're angry with me. Though... In this case the teacher was yelling at this kid for not working with their group, and I'm not exactly... *feels guilty.* I hate it when people are angry with me...
Oh yea! So, this morning just as I'm leaving I realize that I don't have my organizer, and I don't want to try to get on the bus anyway. Dad already left, so I asked Ann and Alana if they had $2, and neither did. After doing a quick and desperate search for my organizer, I decided to call Patrick and beg him to give me a ride, and he said he would.
Just my luck, as soon as I put my stuff in my bag to go out to the car, I see my organizer behind my three-ring binder. If it were any bigger it would bite me... I don't know if I'm gonna tell Patrick... I know he won't be angry, per se, and he'll probably laugh, but I'm sure he'd also be QUITE annoyed. I think if he asks if I found it, I'll say just yes, but if he asks where, I'll tell him.
20 minutes left in class... What to do? I think I'll talk about how I'm hungry. I'm hungry. =P Maybe I'll get some pizza? I want cucumber sushi! Or, no... Something warm sounds better right now.
Ok, I'm just babbling. If I think of anything I'll make another entry. In the mean time, I'm gonna go read. And stress about Patrick's present. And stuff... =P
P.S. Patrick's gonna be 18 in 3 days. I don't know why, but that fact really scares me... *shivers*
