[DL] beware of sap
Jul. 13th, 2003 11:33 pmI don't know how to start... The weekend was great. I think I'm a bit spoiled now. =P I have decided to take Patrick's advice to heart. I don't think that we'll last forever, but from now on, I don't care. As things stand right now, it doesn't really matter.
I don't really want to give an account of the weekend, mostly because there was so much to it. I mean, we swam (or tried to - rivers are COLD), we hiked, we ate, we sat around a campfire and ate smores. So whatever details I give are part of the rest.
It was really fun watching him play horsie with the children. For some reason watching him make Kira (so kawaii!) laugh brought on one of those moments where you realize just how much you love someone. (Please forgive my sap - I think I'll put a warning in the description.)
Meeting was really nice, too. It was silent for the first half hour or so, and then I ended up going to sleep... I woke up with quite a jump when Dad started speaking. Only two messages... Of course, there were only 6 people. Patrick said he liked it ok, and he's willing to come to TCFM (Twin Cities Friends' (Friend's?) Meeting) with me some time.
Gomen ne... Tsukareteiru. I'll write in the morn.
