tsukikageWell, Tanuki-chan sent me an e-mail back. (Btw, her name's not really Tanuki, I'm just protecting the innocent. Actually, the name I normally call her isn't her real name, either. What IS her real name?... Wasureta.) It seems things aren't quite as bad as I assumed. Thank goodness! ^_^;
Btw, to quickly catch up on old news (I've given up on a detailed update), I somehow passed all but advisory (ie. homeroom). How did I fail advisory?! We only needed to turn in one thing, and though I turned it in one day late, Mrs. Haug said "oh, great, thank you", so I assumed it was ok. I passed English with a D-, which is kinda depressing because I gave up and assumed I would fail.
Now, the interesting thing is, I got a B- in history, What the?! I'm happy, but... Did Ms. Bierman get around the system? I was supposed to automatically fail if I didn't get the grad standard in. I feel so guilty... I keep on meaning to e-mail Ms. Bierman to figure out what happened.
Also, summer school sucks. But I asked my teacher (Mr. Rawlings) if I could do my own work, and he said yes. I'll be reading Catch-22 and writing a paper on it. I'm only a 10th of the way right now, but it seems more irony than literature so far. What am I going to write on?
Guess what! Guess what! One of my dreams has come true! Patrick and I get to go camping together!
Our family is going camping with the Cairn's at Whitewater State Park in two weekends, and dad invited Patrick to come if he brought his own tent. *smiles* Sitting around the campfire, going on a hike, going swimming. Waking up to his voice in the morning... (I'm assuming he'll be up before me.) I'm REALLY looking forward to this...
