[DL] Green Eggs and Ham Bath

tsukikageWhee! (Such an original opening, ne?) Well, I had quite an intersting day today...
So, I had my practice SAT at Macalester College today. My parents got a phone call directing me to Rice 167. The test was at 9, and I arrived barely before nine, found rice barely after. There is no Rice 167. I wandered around the building for 10 minutes to see if there was some Princeton Review poster around directing me to the right room, which there wasn't.
I eventually gave up and called a bunch of friends, none of whom were home, and I wandered towards the exit. In the entryway I found a man and his kid lying on couches and I asked if his kid was taking the pracitce SAT, and he said no, but he saw a girl in the same predicament wandering towards the library, and thanked him and went after her. Eventually I saw a girl wandering back towards rice, and found out she was the same one, and told me the room she found the test was at. Luckily, the proctor was still there. We started the test at 9:45. ^^;
Seriously, a company like the Princeton Review should be able to distribute correct information. I wonder how many of the seven people who didn't come didn't come because they didn't know where it was...
The test went ok. Section seven was verbal. :( I really don't know how I did. Started out well and went downhill. Forgot my calculator and kept figuring that 2^12 was 2048... I think I aced the 15 minute math section. I dunno... At least it was only a practice test. All I know is, I'm going to have to do some serious studying if I want to get an 800 in math in October.

After the test I went to Jamba Juice and got a Mango A-Go-Go smoothie and two French rolls at Breadsmith. *drools* Jamba and Breadsmith... Though I'm probably gonna be sick of Jamba after I get all wired up...
Anyways, I called Patrick after I got home to see when he was going to pick me up to go to our friend's grad party, and he came over right away. After installing (or attempting to install - he needs a "jumper" to finish it) the new burner, we went over to his house and spent some time together. We were late to the party, and late leaving. ^_^;
After the party we drove around a bit. Went to Minnehaha Falls. ^_^ (This holds great value for me, because it's our family's "grave site".) Then we decided our bladder's needed emptying, and we went to the Amoco. Patrick felt guilty about not buying anything, so he got some Twizzlers and gave them to me.

Patrick dropped me off around 11. Apparently Nikko-chan (whee! ﾆｯｺちゃんです) called me, and I called her back, and we're both going to meeting tomorrow! It's been so long, seriously...
So... That was my day. Interesting, wasn't it? =P
