Spider web in mah hair!!!!
Aug. 15th, 2010 11:11 pmAs I was coming up the stairs to the house today, I suddenly walked into what I believe was a spider web. Despite having planned to take a shower tomorrow, I immediately went upstairs to take one so I could wash my hair. And, for the first time in... six months? I used shampoo to wash it. Beyond that, for the first time in maybe two years I washed the whole length with shampoo. Piled it all on top of my head and just had at it. After rinsing off the shampoo I have to say the length felt... stripped. Although that may have just been my imagination. Still waiting for my hair to dry before I have any real sense of how different it is with shampoo on the whole length. I'm really just praying that I got all of the spider web out...
Watching the Escaflowne movie since disc 1 of the series was delayed and Netflix automatically sent the next thing in my cue. I feel so wrong watching it before having seen the entirety of the series (I think I saw 10-ish episodes at MAS long ago). I know I'm not going to get spoiled for the series and that they have different plots, etc., but still. The movie was meant to be seen by those who had seen or would never see the TV series, right? As a dessert after the meal that is the TV series. Or maybe I'm worried that an early-90s TV series will feel like a let-down after a movie-budget production.
But I just can't bring myself to waste my money by not watching in time to send it back with the first mail pick-up after it arrived.
[EDIT: I wonder if I would have enjoyed the Utena series better if I hadn't seen the movie first...]
