Alright, I'll just pose this question to you:
Which would you enjoy more: a potluck picnic at Como Park, or dinner at Rainbow?
Some things that I've been thinking:
- transportation to Como may be difficult since it'll be on a weekend during the Fair, especially for people who would be taking the bus
- it's possible that we'll have bad weather, and it really won't work to go to either of my parents' houses
- we'll be able to talk a lot louder and be ourselves more if we're outdoors (as we will be at como)
- we could bring a soccer ball or frisbees or whatever and actually play
- people will actually have to bring food to Como
- it'll be kind of hard to nail down a spot to meet and communicate where that spot is
- Rainbow will be more expensive (?)
- Rainbow is damn nummy and I haven't been there in years

They serve Mojitos at Rainbow. (a person could drink to inebriation)

No alcohol allowed in city parks. (a person could drink to inebriation)

How would you have a sakura-viewing party without alcohol?!

*adds to options and things to keep in mind*

Ichiban's can be an option, and I've got a diner's card for one person's free meal.

I've got a car and can drive people around and transport items.

If you just want to chill and hang out, I can always reserve a room at CSOM for a couple of hours (and informally stay there longer, since classes are out and it's summer).

Between potluck and Rainbow... depends on # of people. More=better for potluck, less=better for restaurant
