What do you mean I'm not the cashier?

So, I left my comb and denshi jisho at work today, so I just went back to pick those up and return the craptastic $10 water boiler that I can't pour from without spilling all over. Anyways, a lot of the things that only managers can do (returns/exchanges, voids, cash pick-ups, etc.) require the cashier who was on the till at the time to initial the receipt. So when I signed the return slip that the store keeps, I automatically initialed in the cashier spot. I mean, hey, that's what I'm supposed to do, right? The night manager then reminded me that I wasn't the cashier. Oh, right. ^^; I almost immediately told Trevor (the night cashier whom I get along with rather well), and he laughed too.
