The last LoudTwitter post has taken over my "Last Entry" in Semagic, so I'm starting a new entry. And speaking of that post, it's a good thing I came over to LJ.

Thirty. Four. Tweets. Granted, a lot of them were replies, but still... [livejournal.com profile] ellie_desu's totally right - I've got to try to get that under control. Which I am now attempting! Go me!

Alright, back to work. (Looking through my icons to figure out which to use, seeing the one of Makoto in the bath really makes me want to take a hot bath right now...)

- I'd better start writing my full-sentence outline now. I'd really like to actually practice my speech this week, and even not go 100% over my time limit.
Also, it's probably a mix of second wind and the placebo effect, but I think the 5-Hour Energy I just took actually did something this time. Of course, it's only been in me for, what 15 minutes? So even if it is actually working, the effect may not last long.

- Dear Google,
Please learn to tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese. I mean, how hard can it be to implement a simple は-test (TM)? I know I can do that myself, but I have to admit it's kind of annoying when I copy-pasted the Japanese text while in English mode, and have to not only switch to Japanese mode but then also switch to hiragana mode when you could just do that yourself. Or if that's really too much for you, the least you could do would be filter out .cn results.

Love,
Nastassja

- Is medium-run a word? If not, is it too tacky to use as one?

- Why is there a Chinese and even a Plattdüütsch article on Duluth, MN, but not a Japanese one? (I suppose the more important question is why am I looking up Duluth on Wikipedia...)
[EDIT: Eeep, I lied. That was the article on St. Louis county, not Duluth.]
