After the guy in admissions and records somehow told the system I have more than 30 credits, I was able to register for classes today.

Summer (6/16-8/04):
SPE 101, Introductory Speech Communication (3 cr.), W 6:30-9:15 (>50% online)

Fall (8/23-12/08):
MAT 145, Linear Algebra for Business (4 cr.), MW 6-7:50
CSC 105, Application of Computers in Business and Commerce (4 cr.), online
HUM 103, Cultural Values in the Eastern World (3 cr.), online
("Exploration of East Asian cultures (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) as expressed in art, music, literature, history and philosophy." This actually fulfills a requirement.)
ACC 102, Managerial Accounting (3 cr.), online

From the course description, CSC 105 sounds like stuff I already know how to do (or can learn on my own quite easily), but after talking to the transfer admissions people at UIUC, it sounds like I really can't get out of the class. At best I'll be surprised and learn some valuable skills, and at worst it'll be an easy A.

I may take MAT 129, Calculus and Analytic Geometry II (4 cr.) instead of MAT 145, but I have to talk to a counselor about which would be better first. Besides, the system doesn't have me recorded as having taken the prereq. for 129 yet, and it's still at 25 seats open out of 30, so I can wait to decide.

If Obama's health care through parents through age 26 ends up not applying to me and I decide not to cut my hours at work, I'll cut down to 6 or 7 credits in the fall. Otherwise, I'll have 10 credits to take in the Spring, and then I graduate with my A.S.! (Assuming I don't fuck things up, of course...)

As much as I've been griping about not wanting to need to see a counselor to register, though, I really would like to eventually talk to a counselor about the classes I should take for transfer, since there are a few things I'm confused about...

[EDIT: Alright, so maybe that speech class will take care of the intesne feeling of "durr..." I've been having during the waking portions of the last 30 hours.]
