tsukikageSo, I was listening to my benkyou (studying) (vs. dokusho (reading)) playlist, which is essentially all my vocal albums, and the current album was one by Horie Yui, and I'm not terribly familiar with her music. Anyways, a song came on that I recognized before she even started singing. It was On My Way by angela.
Now, I'm under no delusions that angela is an amazingly talented band. I mean, the main reason I got into them is because of how angsty much of their music is, and we all know I'm an angst whore. However, they are very much a (pop) rock band, and atsuko gives pretty strong, relatively aggressive vocals. Horie Yui... has a cute face, honeyed voice, and a vocal range of about one octave. Basically, she's an aidoru with an unusually long lifespan. WTF is she doing trying to sing an angela song, even if it is one of their lighter songs?
