Do the quadrants have to do with the spiral arms and structure of the galaxy, maybe? That might make more sense. Also, I'm glad to know someone else is sick of the anti-nuke theme.

Ooooh, duh. I think part of my confusion was that I initially thought the quadrants referred to the whole universe, and then I corrected myself.

What does "shiawase" mean? It's the name of one of the Japanese mega-zaibatsu in that Shadowrun RPG game I run.
