If so that's a great bargain if you don't have a car!! :) I know it can be hard while in college...
I guess weigh it against how much you will use the bus. I had a car at college and still I didn't go off campus all that much. Most of the people I knew never went off campus. I only went off campus so much because I did have a car and I hated the people in my dorms.
U students (which for this semester I'm not) get unlimited rides the entire semester (fall, spring, and summer) for only $50. I've been using the UPass since Fall of 2002...
I'm not going to college this semester. ><;;; I ride my bike quite often (often in conjunction with the bus - yay for bike racks!), but I won't be able to do that once the snow falls.
If you plan on living off campus, definitely get a UPass. $50 might seem like a lot, but in comparison to gas and parking prices or in comparison to the costs of living in a dorm, it is a VERY big bargain.
However, if you have a very long commute you may want to consider living closer to campus or on campus in the future because commuting can really take energy out of you, and you'll need lots of time and energy for studying and MAS. ;)
See, I'm not going to the U this semester, so I'm not elligible. So I have no choice but to spend five times the amount. *grumbles* I can't wait until I can go back to the U.
Is that for basically unlimited rides?

Good luck scraping up that kind of dough. OUCH!
