Jan. 17th, 2010 01:04 pmSo, I was taking notes and noticed my hands were shaking, so I took that as a sign that I "needed some calories" and went downstairs to get a bowl of cereal. About five minutes after I had finished eating my hands were still shaking a bit, and I realized that it takes a while for the calories in the food to be turned into the more important thing: an increase in blood sugar. Duh! So I decided that a truffle or two until the cereal gets a chance to digest and give me some longer-lasting blood sugar. Junk food as medicine!
Note to self: next time I get really shaky at work, make sure to eat some fruit or a small candy bar along with any actual food I get to eat.
