A New Month, A New Podcast
Aug. 25th, 2009 11:30 pmWas listening to the new
ninjaconsultant podcast when they had a promo for The Gamma Quadrant, an approximately weekly podcast covering one episode of DS9 each week. Which really intrigues me (and has the bonus of giving me an excuse to re-watch DS9, and on a reasonable schedule no less). So far they have episodes 1-13 covered, so I'm copying S1 from DVDs to my computer now. Unfortunately I don't have S1 in iPod format, so I'll have to copy those to my laptop. Which I guess isn't that bad, since it's easy to watch stuff on there in the morning.
Anyways, yeah, gonna start re-watching DS9. :)
You know, I honestly can't remember the last time I just put my iPod on shuffle. In the morning I have my alarm clock wake me up with some energetic CD, currently Utada Hikaru's ULTRA BLUE, when I'm working on Shakespeare I have my Dokusho Playlist (reading playlist, consisting of instrumental CDs, primarily anime OSTs) on shuffle by album, during the day I'm either listening to new podcast episodes or working through old episodes of podcasts I've recently subscribed to, and when I go to bed I pick one instrumental album to help me get to sleep. And that's essentially all I've listened to for the past... 6 months at least. Craziness.
