House the TV show or House as in your dwelling place? And... I'd say it would depend on how well the bed is filled (like if it's firm vs. not), but you can do that well on (and occasionally in!) pretty much any surface, I'm pretty sure.
The TV show. Wilson buys a new mattress for him and his girlfriend, and eventually picks a waterbed (which he then realizes he can't get any sleep on and decides he wants to return).
Difficult, but not impossible. Like the person above mestated, it all depends on how firm it is. If ya like the sloshy, underfilled mattress, sex goes from being something enjoyable, to an acrobatic chore.
