God, I feel like shit after watching that. I already have a slight headache from the crying...
God damn it, Jack, why couldn't you have, just once, told him you loved him?
Seriously, though, this episode had my heart rate up at least 20% for pretty much the entire thing.

I want fic. Jack/Ianto PWP, preferably. Or at least something fluffy. To get my mind off this icky, tense feeling.

I AM SO ANGRY AT TORCHWOOD. I will never forgive RTD unless he can magically bring Ianto back. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

I can't say I agree. I mean, other than the sort of grieving denial/bargaining. I know the show's mucked around with death before (with GuyYouHate and all), but it would have to take some really careful working to make that not feel cheap.

I think what makes me angry is that Ianto was really cheated out of a proper story arc. He wasn't used at all in Season 1, and it was pretty obvious in this season that his character and his relationship with Jack had a lot of ground to explore, which was totally wasted. So... I am disappointed that he was killed for pretty much no reason. Like Tosh. Although I think her character had a full arc and it was her time.

I do agree that bringing him back would be cheap. I'm just upset that his character was killed for no reason.

Also, GDL wasn't in the opening credits for Day Five. So, yeah, he's gone.

I'm actually terrified of watching Day Five. Actually, I was terrified of watching the whole show because I knew something horrible was going to happen. RTD just can't help himself.
