By the way, does anyone know what sort of damage can be done to a new internal HD if, for example, the old motherboard it's mounted on goes bad? In other words, is it a bad idea to get a new internal HD and put it in my current computer until I get a new tower?
[EDIT: Right after posting that, I called my dad for his opinion, and he said it should be fine as long as it's not the drive with my OS.]
